Separation

THE LONELY BRIDGE

Here I'm standing on the bridge
Under the moon-lit sky
The blowing breeze is asking me about you
About your absence, and I,

I'm still standing on the bridge all alone,
Waiting for you to come,
I've been thinking about you,
Whole day whole night,
Whole winter shiver whole summer bright

It’s like it’s been ages
That I've waited for you here,
Till I take my last breath,
I'll desire of you to come near.

People come and people go,
So does the time.
So do the seasons,
But I'm waiting beyond many reasons.

The path of love was never difficult,
Only was it a little mystic.
You had me and I had you
And our life was never twisted.
And one day you left me all alone,
It’s been years that you're gone,
Still your fragrance hovers my mind.
You're not here, you are lost in the dark,
I need you badly I wanna go blind.

You had filled my life With the flowers' bloom,
You took me to a world Wherein there wasn't gloom
The lovely days of happiness and joy,
Meaningless, are the days gone by.

It’s the ending of the chapter WE
Perhaps the beginning of a lifeless ME
The bridge we used to cross each day,
Bears thorns, is so painful to stand.

Your laughter echoes and faints
I listen the melancholy notes of the stars,
I sing along with them in the moon-lit sky
Your heart is my heavenly abode,
I say the world goodbye.

I slowly close my eyes, your face I remember,
The childlike face of simplicity,
I set my soul free, I come near you
I jump off the bridge with glee...
